Why We Need You

Duties will include:

  • Open daily post and circulate to the appropriate departmen, also parcel distribution. Manage end-of-day postal service pickup’s
  • Send and receive emails regarding orders pending, queries or general issues
  • Collection of outstanding debts via phone, email and email out copy invoices for obtaining payment. Record customers queries on account, whilst remaining polite and assertive
  • Allocating customers cheques to the appropriate account and clear down invoices
  • Daily monitoring of accounts and take customers payment via Credit Card machine
  • Assist on customers credit limits to be able to release customer orders
  • Upload supplier invoices and oversee stock and drop orders
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, and request copy invoices 
  • Obtain trade references
  • General administration and supporting the accounts function

  • GCSEs with maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent
  • Good keyboard skills are essential as well as a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Capable of making constructive contributions/suggestions to improve the team
  • Good standard of verbal and written communication
  • Good standard of numeracy skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Capable of judgement and decision-making skills
