Why We Need You

The Customer Team are responsible for a wide range of customer related work, from general customer queries through to formal complaints and Freedom of Information requests. The successful Apprentices will be working predominantly in the Customer Service side of the team dealing with day-to-day customer interaction, both verbally and in writing. Part of the Apprentice role will be to ensure that the customer information that we collect is accurate and of good quality, as well as to identify areas where we can improve.


The Planning Inspectorate (PINS) has a long and proud history in ensuring a fair planning system by considering appeals for planning decisions in England and Wales. We also take a leading role in supporting communities through reviewing development plans for Local Authorities and advise government ministers on planning consents for nationally significant infrastructure projects, such as the new runway at Heathrow.
