Why We Need You

Duties include:

  • To provide administration support to the Customer Care Team
  • To support updating dynamics CRM to ensure that customer contact data and organization data is accurately maintained
  • To support member website registrations
  • Updating Dynamics CRM System
  • To ensure that organisation and contact data is accurately updated and maintained
  • To ensure that new contact data is accurately entered
  • To update Dynamics CRM system and EEF Website Accounts where known contacts have left Member organisations
  • Update CRM & Website systems from email bounce back data
  • To set-up and update Member’s Website Accounts
  • To approve new website registrations received
  • To work with digital & marketing teams to ensure that Member contacts receive the right e-comms from Make UK
  • Administrative support to Member engagement – producing member utilization reports, membership certificates and membership packs where needed
  • Dealing with email enquiries into Customer Care Inbox


Make UK is a membership organisation which has represented the Manufacturing sector for over 125 years. The company has a training division which offers learning and development opportunities to both member and non-member organisations mainly in the West Midlands, but also throughout the UK.

Through its two main training facilities, The Technical Training Hub and the Technical Training Centre, Make UK offer traineeships,  apprenticeship training and commercial upskilling within Manufacturing, Engineering, Leadership and Management. We have 

invested over £20 million  into these centres, over the past 6 years, creating one of the most realistic, modern, industry and learner led training environments across the country.

Our Main focus is to attract new talent into the Engineering and Manufacturing industry, primarily through an apprenticeship. We believe the investment Make UK have made will benefit the development and employability of young, enthusiastic people wishing to pursue a career within engineering and manufacture by providing them with the skills, knowledge and understanding to competently achieve a successful career within the sector and to be a key part of the future success and growth of UK manufacturing


No desired qualifications necessary, but maths and English Level 2 (or equivalent) would be desirable and will be needed to be worked on during the apprenticeship if not already gained.

  • Good IT skills
  • Awareness of / previous experience of using CRM system or MS Office products
  • Understanding of what constitutes excellent customer service
  • Be able to communicate in a professional and friendly manner with members by telephone and email
  • Be able to communicate and work constructively as part of a team, both within the Customer Care team and with members of other business functions in Make UK
  • Ability to prioritise and organise work
  • Takes responsibility and can delegate when necessary
  • Communicates well with others
  • Demonstrable experience in key areas
