Data Analyst Apprentice (BSc Degree Apprenticeship)

As a trainee data analyst, you will deliver advanced data analytics and data science projects to improve business performance and efficiency. The work here is very varied, so no two days will ever be the same! Across the 3-year programme, you’ll work with a range of teams and technologies to broaden your experience.

You will learn how to design and build dashboards, conduct research and generate new analysis and models. Along the way, you’ll study for a BSc degree in data analytics with award-winning training provider, Multiverse, to learn all the skills you need in your role.

You will work flexibly and can choose London or Bath as your main office, but client work could take you on trips to any part of the country!

NCR is one of the world’s biggest providers of technology solutions to restaurants, shops and banks. You might have seen their logo on cashpoints and self-checkouts, as they have top brands like Starbucks, Shell and Chipotle as clients.

GCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent.

Some maths, statistics or computer science expertise - this could be from a qualification, work experience, online courses or extracurricular activities.

NCR aren’t looking for their apprentices to come with any formal work experience. They just want to hire people who are keen to learn! You will need to be passionate about data science. Ideally, you’ll have a background in maths, statistics or computer science.

The most important skill for any data scientist is the ability to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply, so you’ll need to be a problem solver and a great communicator. You will also need to be ready to learn about data analysis tools, and techniques, as well as programming languages such as SQL and R.
