This is an exciting opportunity to kick start your career in IT with a forward-thinking organisation who are investing heavily in our academies technology and the teams who run them. You will receive hands-on training to build the knowledge needed to be a successful IT technician.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Logging, prioritising and resolving tickets on the IT Helpdesk in a timely and courteous manner
  • Providing hardware and software support, remotely and in-person
  • Installing and maintaining hardware and software
  • Supporting wired and wireless networks and troubleshooting connection issues
  • Supporting a wide range of Microsoft products including Office 365 and other educational software
  • Helping to monitor and enhance the trust’s IT estate including a physical & virtual server estate, cloud technologies and backups solutions
  • Working between Leodis academies trust sites to provide IT support our staff and students as required, as well as any other appropriate duties
  • Attending and participate in staff meetings, training and briefings as appropriate.
  • Following Trust procedures to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children.
  • Be aware of, and comply with, all Trust policies and procedures, in particular those relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection.
  • Be aware of and support difference and ensure equality for all working in an anti-discriminatory manner, upholding and promoting the standards and equal opportunities of the academy and Leodis Academies Trust.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos, work and aims of the Trust.
