About The Role
We are looking for a bright, talented individual to join the team as an IT Support Apprentice. The successful candidate will be undertaking a level 3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship. This role will mainly involve assisting all departments within the business with their IT needs and resolving issues which means that the ideal candidate will need to be proactive and possess good communication skills to effectively deliver support.
Qualifications
Essential:
- 5 GCSE (9-4/A*-C) or equivalent including English and maths
- Good standard of practical application of literacy and numeracy
Roles/Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
- Provide hardware and software technical support to staff and clients within the building
- Manage support requests according to their process and escalate issues when it’s appropriate
- Make amendments to network security and access rights
- Assist in the maintenance and administration of Microsoft Office 365
- Assist with the movement of IT equipment within the business
- Help maintain documentation and contribute to the development of better work practices
- Help maintain accurate software licensing records
- Help complete daily, week
