There is an opportunity to join the Reward Operations UK team, based at Airbus, Broughton as a payroll apprentice. Reward Operations provide a payroll, time and personal administration service across all the Airbus divisions in the UK (Airbus Commercial, Airbus Defence & Space & Airbus Helicopters). About us! We operate 5 separate payrolls paying over 10,000 people each month. Payroll is not just about pushing the button - we work across the business and there are so many different elements and interdependencies that have to work in harmony to ensure a successful payroll each month. Our apprenticeship is an ideal opportunity to gain and develop a variety of knowledge and skills, as well as essential business and payroll qualifications. These will enable the individual to become a payroll expert and play a pivotal role in our team’s service delivery. Becoming our apprentice could be the ideal start to your career - our unique sponsored qualification offers the best of all worlds. It’s a specialist programme designed to develop high level payroll skills including academic and vocational studies. What you will be doing: You will work towards your qualifications and gain work experience and we’ll pay you a regular salary and all your course fees. We consider our apprentices to be ideally qualified, with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to enable them to make a real contribution to activities and projects. Our Apprenticeship programme is of three years’ duration and based at the Airbus Broughton site and run in conjunction with our partnership college. Over the length of the course your day to day activity will involve a wide range of activity, including: Processing of all payroll and time related transactions Liaising with internal and external stakeholders using Airbus HR systems Managing customer queries Data entry and management

Requirements

In order to be eligible for this exciting apprenticeship opportunity, you must have a minimum of: Five GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English Language Or; 2 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in Maths and English language AND a BTEC Level 2 preferably in Business Admin, Customer Service or similar, but other level 2 BTECs will be considered Or; Equivalent qualifications You will also need to demonstrate: Excellent organisational skills Enthusiastic and receptive to change Results-driven, logical and methodical approach to achieving tasks and objectives Determined and decisive; uses initiative to develop effective solutions to problems Please note, we love your interest in working for Airbus but we do ask that you make only one application.
