As a Shunter Driver you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are shunted/driven and prepared for service. Driving a train carries great responsibility but with that comes pride and achievement, knowing that an invaluable service has been delivered.

We’re looking for a great mix of talented people with concentration, co-ordination and a talent for customer service too – our training provides all the skills and knowledge you'll need to operate a train.

Shunter Driving is a safety critical role, so you must be aged over 21 to apply

On appointment into a Shunter Driver role you will be enrolled into the Shunter Driver Apprenticeship Programme which will lead to a nationally recognised qualification.

Apprentice Heating Engineer

This role is based between two sites - Abbey Lane (23 Abbey Ln, Woodseats, Sheffield S8 0BJ) and Totley Rise Medical (96 Baslow Rd, Totley, Sheffield S17 4DQ), so ideally you should be able to drive.&nbsp;
Administration:

Business Administration / Receptionist Apprentice

There is never an average day at a vehicle workshop. Every day presents a new set of jobs and challenges. As part of a team the apprentice will be expected to work together with members of the workforce. Work ranges from general sevicing and MOTs to Cambelts and diagnosing of issues.&nbsp;
Tasks to carry out include but are not limited to, upkeep of the workshop, assisting in MOTs, Basic Servicing, using diagnostic equipment, tyre changing etc.
Duties will be supervised and assisted if needed.&nbsp;

Vehicle Maintenance Apprenticeship

Your day to day role will include the following:

Assisting residents with personal care such as washing/dressing with an individual personalised approach. Please note this will be supervised by a more senior carer. Assisting with meal times, setting up the room and clearing after residents. Assisting residents with eating and drinking mealtimes. Assisting residents with mobilising around the home. Assisting senior staff with audits under supervision.

Environmental Practitioners will combine a high level of knowledge and understanding of environmental principles and techniques to complex environmental systems. Their expertise will be developed, adaptable or transferable to a range of environmental specialisms, which could include, environmental policy and legislation, air quality, climate change, energy, water resources, waste management, ecology, acoustics, land contamination, sustainability, landscape or heritage.

Level 6 Environmental Practitioner (Degree) Apprenticeship

Building Services concerns itself with the mechanical and electrical design for building projects.
As part of our Apprenticeship Programme, working within our Building Services Design team, you will develop your skills and knowledge whilst working on high-profile engineering design projects for a diverse client base.
You will gain valuable work experience at the same time as earning a competitive salary. This hands-on experience is complimented by one day per week at university.&nbsp;
