Meet the academic
Dr Shabnam Sadeghi Esfahani

Dr Shabnam Sadeghi Esfahlani serves as an Associate Professor in Robotics at Anglia Ruskin University's School of Engineering and the Built Environment. In addition to leading the Automation and Robotics MSc course, she is the Post Graduate Research Coordinator and the Deputy Leader of the BORI research group. Dr Esfahlani holds the distinction of being a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), and a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET). Her research primarily focuses on robotics, artificial intelligence, mechatronics design, and virtual reality (VR) integration in serious video games.
