<h3>Dentons Now to Next Scholarship</h3>The Dentons Now to Next Scholarship is a national student scholarship scheme designed to support students of Black, African or Caribbean heritage (including applicants of mixed-race with Black African or Black Caribbean heritage).It is aimed at students who attended state school and are due to start a qualifying law degree in the UK or Ireland in September 2026.<h3>About the Scholarship</h3>The Now to Next Scholarship is designed to:<ul><li>Provide financial support to underrepresented law students</li><li>Help scholars develop their interest in a career in law</li><li>Offer insight into commercial law and early careers opportunities</li></ul>Successful applicants will receive a £2,500 scholarship per year for the duration of their three-year undergraduate qualifying law degree in:<ul><li>England and Wales, or</li><li>Scotland (Common Law degree)</li></ul><h3>Eligibility Criteria</h3>Applications are welcome from students of Black, African or Caribbean heritage (including applicants of mixed-race with Black African or Black Caribbean heritage) who meet the following criteria:<ul><li>Have attended, from the age of 11, a state-funded, non-fee-paying school or college in the UK or an *independent or fee-paying school in the UK through a bursary scheme</li><li>Intend to complete a full-time undergraduate law degree in:<ul><li>England or Wales (qualifying law degree), or</li><li>Scotland (Common Law degree)</li></ul></li><li>Have not yet started their undergraduate law degree</li><li>Hold a strong academic record</li></ul>
