Meet the academic
Dr Daisy Wiggins

Dr Daisy Wiggins has been a midwife since 2013 and is Joint Programme Lead at Bournemouth University. Daisy completed her doctorate in 2017, looking at women’s decision-making and choice of place of birth when a decision support tool (DST) is used as part of the clinical discussion. Daisy’s areas of interest regarding midwifery include decision-making, place of birth options, infant feeding (Daisy is a BFI champion lecturer), and child safeguarding (Daisy is a joint child safeguarding lead).
