Meet the academic

David Acquaye
David Acquaye is an Associate Professor and Head of Business, Management, Accounting, and Finance Division within the Faculty of Science, Business, and Enterprise (SBE). His leadership has made his division one of the most vibrant and visible within the University community. With over 20 years of teaching experience in higher education, he has made significant contributions in learning and teaching through programme development, quality assurance, and postgraduate research delivery. His outstanding work has been recognised by all the institutions he has worked for. It is important to note that he has received several awards, including the Outstanding Teacher Fellowship Award, the Professional Mentor of the Year Award, the Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Most Inspirational Lecturer of the Year Award. David has led the team in designing programmes that address contemporary skills needs in Banking, Accounting, Finance, and Analytics.
