Meet the academic
Gary Robinson
Gary is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Chester. Gary is the module leader for Level 5 Criminal Law, Level 6 Advanced Criminal Law and Practice and Level 6 Evidence. Gary is responsible for the design, delivery, and assessment of these modules. Gary also acts as a personal tutor in the Law Department. Alongside this, Gary is a Law School Outreach Coordinator, and part of the Artificial Intelligence developers team. He is an associate A Level Law examiner and content creator, and an external examiner for two universities. Gary has taught Criminal Law and Evidence for over 25 years at various levels and different qualifications. Gary has been lecturing in Higher Education for the past 7 years. Outside of teaching, Gary is currently completing an educational masters research project on the effective use of video presentation materials in learning and teaching. He is also a contributor to a variety of student extracurricular activities and pursuits, including the ‘Mooting and Milking it for Money’ campaign to raise awareness and money for mental health.
