Meet the academic
Luke Barron

Luke Barron is an Automotive and Systems Technician at the University of Huddersfield, where he supports academic and research activities in Automotive and Motorsport Engineering. His primary focus is assisting the University’s Formula Student Team, Team HARE. Luke holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and is a named inventor on a patent. Previously, he served as Technical Facilitator for the Turbocharger Research Institute, where he contributed to advancements in turbocharger technology. A former member of Team HARE, Luke was the Team Leader in 2013, guiding the team to achieve the distinction of Best UK Team at the Silverstone event.
